Valentino

Alessandro Michele built Fireflies on a letter Pier Paolo Pasolini wrote in 1941, remembering fireflies still lighting a wartime night and reading them as proof that desire had survived. Valentino published the soundtrack on its own page as four instrumental pieces.

The four pieces are Sebastian Plano’s Fortanach and Misneach, Uno Helmersson’s Timelapse and Zbigniew Preisner’s Van den Budenmayer concerto.
