Kenzo
CLUB KENZO, Spring/Summer 2026 show soundtrack
Paris · June 27, 2025
Nigo showed CLUB KENZO at Maxim’s on 27 June 2025, built on three rooms he named himself: Warhol’s Factory, Kenzo Takada’s Paris studio in the 1970s and his own circle. Hiroshi Fujiwara did the music; his partnership with Nigo goes back to the Ura-Harajuku scene of the 1990s. The house has published a playlist per season since Nigo arrived in 2021, and the earlier ones are worth the detour: fifteen Yellow Magic Orchestra tracks for Fall/Winter 2023 and eighteen Japanese city-pop records for Spring/Summer 2024.
The eleven tracks refuse to sit in one decade. Sinatra’s My Way opens it, Grandmaster Flash follows, then two Beatles songs on either side of Daft Punk’s One More Time, with Prince, the Carpenters and Queen Latifah closing.
