Bottega Veneta

Bottega Residency began in 2020 as a weekly programme the house ran across its own site, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud. Each week brought one guest and a fixed itinerary: a book on Monday, an artwork on Tuesday, a director on Wednesday, music on Friday, a chef’s recipe on Saturday and a film on Sunday. Daniel Lee took the first week. The playlist is the part that outlasted the format.

The thirty tracks lean toward soul, house and hip hop. They move through Sade, J Dilla, Little Simz with Obongjayar, Tricky, De La Soul with Snoop Dogg, Gwen McCrae, Sylvia Striplin and Idris Muhammad.
